v Optional dual membership in the National Federation. You will be eligible for $1,000,000 in additional liability insurance if you join the NFHS Spirit Association. The following excerpt is from the NFHS Spirit Association Application.
If the member state high school association does not recognize spirit teams (like PIAA), spirit coaches are still covered, provided that the activity is approved by the school and administered under rules that are at least as restrictive as the NFHS Spirit Rules.

v Membership runs from June 1 - July 30 of each year.
v Membership cards for PennACCA are mailed the first of each month. You will be e-mailed once we receive your registration so you know we have gotten it and you are a member.
v You will also receive via e-mail a members only username and password for the members only section of the web site.
v NFHS Spirit Association Memberships are sent to the NFHS Spirit Association immediately after we receive your completed form. You will get your membership information from them in 2-4 weeks (approx) You may also send your form and payment directly to them if you wish to the address on their membership form. If you do, let us know so we can be sure to mark down you are an NFHS Spirit Association Member.
v We also have a team membership form available. Teams can now get the same benefits as coaches get and can save money by registering all at once.
